There is a cool breeze in the air and the excitement of Football is in our home. I love this time of year. There is a very important game coming up this weekend. It's the Fordyce Redbugs versus the Monticello Billies. Now, many of you would say, "AND??" This game is good determinent as to whether the preacherboy bleeds red or BLUE. Monticello (Billie/Blue) is Stacy's Alma Mater, and David Little (one of the Redbug coaches) has accused Stacy of being TRUE BLUE and not RED BUG. So we will all see come Friday.

Hannah is having some conflicting feelings as well. She was heading to Adelyn's birthday party in Monticello the other day and I gave her a bag with her change of clothes and she said, "I can't take this bag, it's a redbug bag!" I said, "Well, Hannah, You Are a Redbug!" She replied, "Not when I am in Monticello!"

It ought to be interesting!

11 years!

I put this title under current affairs, because I am currently having an affair...................with my husband...I know you were all wondering!  We had a nice night out on Saturday to celebrate 11 years of marital bliss (especially on his part).  We drove over to Laynes, and then we went to Monticello and watched Pirates of the Carriabean.  It was fun.  Hannah and Hudson stayed with Hollis and Hudson said they had a great time, "definetely".  He is growing up!  So is Hannah...my kids are getting older and I am getting younger!! I am now on FACEBOOK with my college buddies!  UNREAL!!  I love acting 18 again! (Just wish I still looked it!)

EMPOWERMENT

Hannah was modeling her Hoochie Mama dance costume for me yesterday. She started getting a bit of a "tude" with me and I gave her the "I know you DIDN'T!!" look and she looked up and said "this outfit EMPOWERS me!!" Where in the world does she come up with this stuff?

Her recital is April 29...hope you can be there!

Props to Carolyn ...the best photographer in Monticello on Jefferson street....the world sounds a little unbelievable....Kinda like my dear old dad says "your my favorite Daughter!" of course I am his only daughter! HeeHee.

One of the Funniest Days

Oh, this was a funny day...I had to take my mom to Alzheimer's Clinic that day and my car broke down in Pine Bluff. Stacy had to come and get me and we changed cars. Mom and I got in Stacy's truck and followed him back to a service station. He was driving slowly in front of mom and me with his hazard lights blinking, in the car we just got out of, and my mom keeps saying, "Who's this idiot with the lights flashing in front of us...he's driving to slow....can't you pass him???" I reply with kindness at least 1000 times, "Mom, that's Stacy, he's driving our car to the service station." "oh"

Anyway to describe my children's costumes...we are on a Christmas float for the Monticello Christmas parade. Hannah wanted to be "Mary" the mother of Jesus and she wouldn't ride without me and Hudson was a "barnyard" animal...you know Fido, the friendly dog that was there the day Jesus was born.

There was so much more to this story.....Maybe tomorrow I'll get back to it!
