My children and I were talking about death and dying. We talked about how when we die our souls go to heaven and leave our bodies. Our bodies are merely shells that hold all the important things.
My ever so wise 9 year old spoke with truth and clarity and asked, "Mom, why are we all so worried about our shells?"
WOW! Great question Hannah, great question!
school stinks and I am tired....tired,......TIRED!
This is an older video of Hudson doing his thing. He cracks me up as he comes to the realization that his booty is shaking. It's like his back-end wasn't a part of him and he just notices that is shaking on its own. Hope you enjoy a laugh or two at his expense...he would love knowing that you get a kick out of him!
"I am churched up for a while," said my dad. He commented this at 12:15 a.m. after the Christmas Eve/Christmas morning service at the Methodist church here in Fordyce. He went to his church in Hamburg that morning, our church at 6:00 p.m. and then the midnight service at the Methodist church. I enjoyed going to the 3 services I went to that day as well. It helped to ring in the Christmas spirit to go and concentrate on the joy of the season, Jesus. My kids were ecstatic to find a trampoline and a puppy under the tree Christmas morning. We took the pup with us to Mississippi to celebrate for 3 days with Stacy's family. They were great sports to have a pup that did it's business all over the house. We managed only to have a couple of accidents and thanks to hard wood and tile it wasn't so bad. We had a great Christmas and are continuing to enjoy school-free days. We hope you had a great Christmas. Hope you all have a Happy New Year!!
